Congratulations and thanks to everyone that helped raise the £2,800 on the Charity Walk. As of today £2,270 is going to Help for Heroes with another £560 Gift Aid and £530 going to Sports Aid.
Help for Heroes have paid £8M to create the new rehabilitation centre at Headley Court in Surrey. There is a new campaign led by the Wilts Gazette and Herald to raise £50,000 to create a similar centre at Tidworth. We have pledged our £2,800 to this campaign but we are hoping that people will continue to donate monies against these pages for Help for Heroes. Another £150 was raised at a talk I gave to Hemyock Men on the walk which has been donated to the National Golf Challenge Day on 24th July at our Golf Club and all future donations will go to this Challenge day for Help for Heroes. www.nationalgolfchallenge.org.uk
I survived on the walk in between the 2 meals per day by using the great TREK wholefood energy bars. Different flavours, very filling. Another great British success story. To Donate
